A Look Back....

Posted by on

January is typically consumed of thinking both forward and backward. As we box up the Christmas decorations and make those new years resolutions, we can't help but take a look back at this fabulous year we had thanks to all of our Stash guests. Let's reflect on some of the high points of our previous year, shall we?

We furnished two St. Jude Dream Homes, one in Memphis and one in St. Louis.

In November we partnered with the talented Sean Anderson. He is an interior designer, who worked with Stash to furnish the Vesta Home Show in Memphis, TN.

We partnered with Uncorked in St. Louis. We furnished a VIP Lounge for guests to enjoy.

As part of our Y-127 initiative, we worked with Safe Families in Memphis, TN. Safe Families manages the Mercy House, which Stash furnished during the fall of 2017. Mercy House is a home for women and children who might be in abusive relationships. Mercy House will provide them a safe place to live, and assist the mothers in finding a job.

In May we hosted the Stratus Launch party at the Memphis, Kirkwood, and Tupelo stores. We unveiled both the Stratus white Lilly sectional and the Smoke Grey sectional. We had giveaways, food, drinks, and live music.

In August we also hosted an Austin launch party, launching the furniture line Austin by Stash Home. We had Mexican food, drinks, giveaways, and a karaoke contest.

After Hurricane Harvey, we donated a portion of all our Austin by Stash Home purchases to those who were affected by the hurricane in the Houston area.

One of our biggest, multi-year projects was launching our newly designed Stash Home website! For the first time ever, you can now purchase Stash goodness online and have it delivered straight to your home.

We also partnered with the Pediatric Center in Tupelo, we were the only furniture store voted in Best of Memphis and Memphis Most, furnished the Best of Memphis party in September, attended market in January and April to bring new product to the stores, hosted the first ticket purchase for the St. Jude Dream Home with Michael Moloney at our Memphis store, and so much more!

2017 would not have been such a great year without each and every one of our Stash guests! We are not the unique, value oriented furniture store without the guests who help make us that way. We cannot thank you enough for being so great to us in 2017!

We are excited looking ahead with many great things already in the works. As we look forward to 2018 look for: the Visual Comfort Gallery in our Memphis store, participating in the Oxford Film Festival in Oxford, MS in February, attending market in January and April to bring back the latest unique, stylish pieces, continuing our partnership with St. Jude, and many more surprises we can't spill just yet! Look out 2018, we are ready for you!
