Have you been to Stash Home's Kirkwood, MO, location? In addition to housing 32,000 square feet of gorgeous furniture and home décor, this store is home to another treasure―talented Visual Presentation Manager (VPM), Mandi Gray.

Mandi's educational background and experience are as unique as her style, as she has a Bachelor of Arts in Television Production from Columbia College Chicago and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design. She's created designs from conception to completion for residential and commercial spaces, from historic homes to events to showrooms. As a VPM at Stash, Mandi uses her interior design education to lay out vignettes and accessories, problem solve, and to make spaces work to the best of her ability.

When asked to describe her personal style, Mandi responded that it includes "fairly eclectic components, which are inspired by the bold texture and pattern of Tricia Guild, creator of Designers Guild, Josephine Ryan's classic elegance meets bohemian décor, and Ilse Crawford and Clodagh's mastery of bringing the outdoors in and utilizing natural light, energy, and proportions."

Mandi's favorite pieces at Stash right now? "The Beckett Sofa from Bernhardt Furniture. It's classic style with high arms, tufting, and luxurious velvet upholstery. I would love to mix it with bohemian pillows." She also adores the Constantine End Table, which is "gold, square, and jagged with a rustic wood top...the perfect combination of glam meets rustic," and the eliko pillows and tribal, exotic rugs.

She offers this advice to clients who are redecorating a room on a budget. "Pinpoint what you really need first. What is your staple piece? Work off of that, then build on it. This helps you have more of a long-term goal. For example, start with a sofa, then budget for a rug, then keep adding. Keep moving until you've got your sanctuary at home."

Her favorite thing about working at Stash? "I love working in a creative environment that's constantly changing, where I'm encouraged to use my design experience and skills to make the space inviting. And I have an awesome visual team."

We're truly blessed to have Mandi in the role of VPM at our Kirkwood store. She's a unique, passionate interior designer who excels at pairing classic with bohemian, rustic with metallic, and beyond to produce extraordinary looks.
