Tips and Tricks: Fall Family Fun
Posted on October 03 2018
Fall is finally here! Saturday, September 22nd, was the first official day of this inspiring season. Are you ready to make this the most memorable fall yet? This week’s Tips and Tricks covers how to do just that, to plan family-friendly fall activities that will create lasting memories.
1. Take a trip to a fall festival. These events celebrate the season and offer tons of entertainment for both adults and children. If you’re in the Memphis area, you should definitely check out the Pink Palace Crafts Fair, which features artisan crafts, music, food, educational exhibits, kids’ crafts, rides, and more.
2. Host a fall harvest party. Have family, friends, and neighbors over for a sheer celebration of fall—the foliage, the whimsy, and, of course, the food. Your tabletops are key to setting the mood. Think greenery, candles, and pumpkins.
3. Get lost in a corn maze. This year, the Mid-South Maze in Memphis has an exciting prehistoric theme, and, as always, there's the haunted maze at night, only for those who dare!
4. Decorate together. One of this blogger’s favorite childhood memories is spending time with my mom as we pulled all of our fall-themed decorations, like the wreath that hung on our front door, out of the buffet and displayed them once again, setting the scene for Halloween and Thanksgiving.
The Delancy Credenza is the perfect place to store decorations, dishes, or media components.
So, that’s it for this edition of our Tips and Tricks. We hope that we inspired you to welcome this beloved fall season by enjoying every minute of it spent with those you love the most. Happy fall, everyone!
